The right alternative education program finds a way to reach every child and provides the necessary support for students to reach their goals. These initiatives used to be out of reach for smaller districts with limited resources, but Van Dyke Public Schools is helping students get back on track at an impressive rate using Edmentum Courseware.
Furnishing a Positive Alternative for Credit Recovery
Kingman United School District in Kingman, Arizona, used Study Island to help boost student achievement. As the district’s needs expanded, so did its partnership with Edmentum; it added Exact Path and Courseware. Since then, two elementary schools in KUSD have improved their school ratings one letter grade, and high school students are successfully completing more rigorous coursework, requiring a deeper understanding than ever before.
